Panasonic Aquarea T-CAP R32 fault H65
Deice circulation error
Heat pumpWhat it means
During startup and operation of deice (mode 2), the water flow (> 5 l/min) detected by the water flow switch is used to determine deice circulation error.
Likely causes
- Water pump fault
- Water flow in air-to-water heatpump indoor unit circuitry
- Faulty indoor unit water flow switch
- Faulty indoor unit water pump
- Low water outlet/inlet temperature or low outdoor air temperature during deice risks ice formation on heat exchanger plates
- Flow switch fault or no flow detected
- Vacuum pump oil backflow into charge hoses without proper prevention
- Removing refrigerant pipes while compressor is running and valve is open
Where to start
- Check water pump operation during deice cycle
- During deice (mode 2), check if indoor unit water pump operates. If Yes, loop back to start (monitor continues).
- If No, check if external water pump is used and is directly installed to the air-to-water heatpump indoor unit circuit (without buffer tank).

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
