Panasonic Aquarea T-CAP R32 fault F46
Outdoor current transformer open circuit
Heat pumpWhat it means
A current transformer (CT) open circuit is detected by checking the compressor running frequency (greater than or equal to rated frequency) and CT detected input current (< 1.6 A) for continuously 20 seconds.
Likely causes
- Insufficient refrigerant
- Outdoor PCB fault
- Compressor low
- CT defective
- Faulty outdoor unit PCB (main)
- Compressor defective (low compression)
Where to start
- Check refrigerant charge
- Inspect outdoor PCB
- Inspect compressor
