Panasonic Aquarea T-CAP R32 fault F36
Outdoor air temperature sensor abnormality
Heat pumpWhat it means
During startup and operation of cooling and heating, the temperatures detected by the outdoor air temperature sensor are used to determine sensor error.
Likely causes
- Original outdoor temperature sensor fault or wiring issue
- Alternative outdoor ambient sensor fault or wiring issue (if connected and selected YES)
- Faulty connector connection
- Faulty outdoor unit PCB (main)
- Indoor communication error
Where to start
- Measure resistance of outdoor air temperature sensor with connector unplugged
- Verify sensor wiring at indoor unit main PCB terminal if alternative sensor is used
- Turn OFF the power and check the CN-TH1 connector connection
