Immergas Victrix fault MA
Manual activation of operating devices for verification
Gas boilerWhat it means
Allows technician to manually activate individual operating devices (fan, circulator, 3-way valve, configurable relay) without starting the appliance normally, in order to verify correct operation of each component.
Likely causes
- Dirty burner
- Clogged primary heat exchanger
- Incorrect combustion parameters
- Intake-exhaust terminal not correctly installed
- No gas
- Condensate drain clogged
- Drain trap not yet filled with condensate on first start-up, allowing combustion products to escape via condensate drain
- Long period of inactivity causing rotor to seize
Where to start
- Access special functions as described in Paragraph 3.12 and select 'MA' function
- Select Fan (Fn) to bring fan to ignition speed; use up/down buttons to increase/decrease fan speed
- Select Circulator (Pu) - circulator brought to maximum speed, relative speed shown on display, adjustable with up/down buttons

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
