Immergas Victrix fault 29
Flue probe anomaly
Gas boilerWhat it means
The board detects an anomaly on the flue gas probe.
Likely causes
- Fault on flue gas probe
- Obstructed intake grids or exhaust terminals
- Poor terminal placement causing recirculation
- Obstructed or poorly positioned intake/exhaust terminals causing recirculation of flue gases into intake air
- Poor flue termination positioning causing recirculation
- Combustion air contaminated with chlorine, sulphur or powders
- Chemical substances stored in the installation area
- Installation in beauty salons, paint workshops, carpenter's shops, cleaning companies without a separated combustion air supply
- Combustion air fed through chimneys previously used with liquid or solid fuel boilers causing soot accumulation
- Drain trap not yet filled with condensate on first start-up
- Sprays, solvents, chlorine-based detergents, paints, glue, ammonium compounds, powders in combustion air supply
- Poor terminal positioning causing recirculation
Where to start
- Access Information menu parameter d1.6 to verify flue probe temperature reading
- Measure flue ∆P signal during flue test
- Activate flue test (Par. 3.15)

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
