Immergas Victrix fault 47

Burner power limitation

Gas boiler

What it means

Should flue high temperature be detected, the boiler reduces power supplied so as not to damage it.

Likely causes

  1. High flue gas temperature detected
  2. High flue temperature detected
  3. Dirty burner
  4. Clogged primary heat exchanger
  5. Incorrect combustion parameters
  6. Intake-exhaust terminal not correctly installed
  7. Normal behaviour following calibration - system still adjusting ignition parameters
  8. Normal behaviour after calibration - system still adjusting
  9. Post-calibration adjustment period of burner ignition
  10. Incorrect nozzle diameter for gas type
  11. Incorrect gas pressure setting

Where to start

  1. Check the indicated components (burner, primary heat exchanger, combustion parameters, intake-exhaust terminal)
  2. Check the indicated components (burner, heat exchanger, combustion parameters, intake-exhaust terminal)
  3. Confirm conversion was carried out with nozzle of suitable diameter for the gas type used

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
