LG Therma V fault CH232
Reference table correlating water flow rate (l/min) to expected sensor output voltage...
Heat pumpWhat it means
Reference table correlating water flow rate (l/min) to expected sensor output voltage (V) at the CN_F_SENSOR connector (Blue/4), used to verify sensor operation during CH232 diagnosis.
Likely causes
- Flow sensor is electrically open
- Water pump is in trouble
- Cable interference around the flow sensor causing false switch state detection
- Use of compressed air or oxygen for leak testing
Where to start
- View Current flow rate on the service/display screen to verify actual system water flow rate.
- Step 3: If pressure OK, check water pump still running (vibration test at terminal box, or 'Water Pump Operating' on control panel) - if NO, investigate flow sensor (branch B)
- Step 4: If pump running, check if control panel shows CH14 - if NO, condition is normal (END); if YES, investigate water pump trouble (branch C)

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
From the LG manual for the Therma V. Check the model on the data plate before you order parts.
