Ideal Logic Air fault 9.1.16
Source temperature too low fault
Heat pumpWhat it means
Fault indicating the heat source temperature (air/refrigerant source) is too low, typically due to airflow restriction in the outdoor unit or pipework blockages.
Likely causes
- Blockage in pipework between outdoor and indoor units
- Blocked inlet to evaporator
- Blocked fan outlet
Where to start
- Check for blockage in pipework between outdoor and indoor units
- Check if inlet to evaporator is blocked
- Check fan outlet for blockages

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
