Grant Aerona R290 fault P14

Refrigerant leakage fault

Heat pump

What it means

Refrigerant leakage fault detected due to leak in refrigerant circuit, faulty leakage sensor, or faulty hydraulic PCB.

Likely causes

  1. Leak in refrigerant circuit
  2. Refrigerant leakage sensor failure
  3. Hydraulic PCB is faulty
  4. Wire disconnection or wiring error between the heat pump, wiring centre and touch screen display
  5. Fuse on the hydraulic module PCB may have failed
  6. Fuse on the Smart Controller wiring centre PCB may have failed

Where to start

  1. Check whether there is leakage in refrigerant circuit
  2. Check whether refrigerant leakage sensor is normal
  3. Check whether Hydraulic PCB is faulty
