Grant Aerona R290 fault E14
Low pressure sensor LPS failure
Heat pumpWhat it means
Low pressure sensor (LPS) failure due to incorrect connection, sensor failure, or faulty refrigerant PCB.
Likely causes
- Sensor connection incorrectly connected
- Sensor failure
- The refrigerant PCB is faulty
Where to start
- Check correct connection of sensor
- Use a multimeter to check if sensor has short circuit or is faulty
- Check the refrigerant PCB

Safety: Isolate the heat pump and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
