What it means

Noise in the system caused by trapped air in the pipework or pump.

Likely causes

  1. Air in the system
  2. Expansion and contraction of hot and cold-water pipework causing connections to work-loosen
  3. Internal component commissioning causing temporary odour
  4. Shaft seal run-in period causing moisture discharge
  5. Lime scale build-up from extended non-operation

Where to start

  1. Check that cold-water storage tank has sufficient volume
  2. Check electrical current draw against rated Electrical Current value for the model
  3. Verify capacitor rating matches specification before replacement
