What it means

Inverter fault: current sensor operation is abnormal.

Likely causes

  1. Incorrect wiring of current sensor
  2. Failure of control PCB
  3. Failure of Inverter PCB

Where to start

  1. Turn power source off before changing switch position
  2. Set DSW1 pin 1 to ON to cancel electric current detection if required for electrical work
  3. Set DSW1 pin 1 back to OFF after electrical work is complete

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
